A week after presenting the Cancer Unit at Little Aston their MacMillan award, the event was published in the Lichfield Mercury.

If that wasn't enough, the story was then published on the Spire Hospital Website, for all to see.

WELCOME

Imagine being told you are that one in three statistic who has cancer. Now imagine being told you are that one in three statistic who has cancer at the age of 21.

I am Laura Jayne and in January 2010 I was told I had cancer.

I was diagnosed with Stage 2A Hodgkin Lymphoma and had to have 6 - 8 months of intense chemotherapy.

This is my blog all about my journey battling cancer. It tells you all about the new and different experiences I am going through and hopefully it can help other young people who are in the same situation as myself.

In August 2010 I went into Remission and almost three years on I am still clear of the illness.
