Good News!!

Yes finally some good news!!!

Today I had an appointment with my Haematologist so that he could see how I was getting on with all my chemo and medication.

After having a chat to him about my two lots of treatment and how things have gone so far, he accessed me to see how my body was and to see if the infected lymph nodes were disappearing and a huge round of applause please as they have all gone from inside my neck.

He had a feel around where my lump originally was and couldn't feel all the lumps he first felt before he started my chemo. I have also put on weight, going from 52 to 53 on the scales and my blood and cell count are looking healthy as well.

It was so good to hear this and a huge relief to know so far the chemo is actually working without problems. I have just got to have a PET Scan on the 8th April to make sure the chemo is working around the rest of my body and nothing has managed to spread anywhere, but he was confident because of how I am reacting well so far that it won't have spread and the result from the scan will be good!!!!
